Electric Forklifts

Clean machine with compressed air, conditions permitting.
Clean grease fittings and lubricate.
Check Hydraulic oil level; fill if necessary.
Check hydraulic sump filter cap, replace if necessary.
Check upright assembly for proper adjustment and lubricate.
Check differential oil level; fill if necessary.
Inspect lift and tilt cylinders for leaks.
Inspect brake pedal linkage for proper adjustment.
Inspect battery.
Check battery cables and receptacles.
Check electrical components for proper operation.
Operational check and physical inspection of machine.
Complete safety inspection.

Blow out radiator core and clean machine with compressed air
Clean grease fittings and lubricate.
Change engine oil and filter element.
Check transmission and differential oil level; fill if necessary.
Clean air cleaner; inspect hose connections or replace.
Check upright operation.
Check battery.
Check hydraulic oil level; fill if necessary.
Check fuel, oil, water systems for leaks. Check radiator for proper coolant level and protection.
Inspect brake pedal linkage for proper adjustment.
Check master cylinder; fill if necessary.
Check all accessory drive belts for proper tension.
Operational check and physical inspection of machine.
Complete safety inspection.

General Parts and Service Manager

I have been working at WDM since 2016 in several roles that include service, parts, and logistics. My service experience started early when I was a CH-53D Sea Stallion mechanic and aircrewman in the US Marine Corps. After six years of military service, I worked as industrial maintenance mechanic and supervisor for the next six years while I finished my college studies. I spent ten years as an executive public manager for Maine municipal government.
When I am not at work I am with my wife and four daughters. We love boating in Casco Bay and everything else Maine offers a young family.

Shop Service Manager

I started at WD Matthews Machinery in February of 1988 as a Field Service Technician. I was a dedicated to doing PM Service and minor repairs in central and southern Maine.
In the spring of 1994, I changed positions at WDM and became a dispatcher for the Maine Field Service Technicians.
In 1996 I became Assistant Field Service Manager and covered the dispatch position for the Massachusetts Field Service. I held this position until 2019.
In 2019 I became Field Service Manager supervising 40 Technicians and 3 Dispatchers. I held this position until January 2022.
January 2022, I became Shop Service Manager and am still actively in that position.
Outside of work I have been happily married for 41 years to my Wife Barbara. We enjoy spending time at camp. Snowmobiling, riding our ATV’s and spoiling our two dogs.

NH Shop Service Manager

I have been the Concord Shop Service Manager for WDM since July 2019. Prior to coming to WD Matthews I was a road technician for 8 years before becoming an assistant service manager for 2 years for at a New England based dealer. Prior to that I was an automotive technician for 29 years at various repair shops.
In my free time you will find me and my wife floating in our boat, hiking, snowmobiling or just spending time with our 2 sons.
